We have recently acquired the very large but very tatty Victorian Family Bible of James (b. 1838) and Margaret (b. 1840) Duff of Oxendon Street, London.
The Bible is missing it’s front board but contains a one page Family Register covering 18 individuals. The Bible includes an additional handwritten genealogy and family recollections on thin paper, and a Carte de Visite marked “Grandma Duff”, presumably Margaret Duff.
