A large Family Bible in poor condition for rebinding featuring the family register of William Cox and Ann Benns of Hampton, UK. The register lists the 1800 birth of both William and Ann, predating civil registration by 37 years, as well as the birth of their four children between 1832 and 1837. Interestingly, the register also lists the dates years each child had measles, mumps or scarlet fever.
The Bible itself is large and impressive with clear letterpress printing throughout.
