A medium sized early Victorian leather Bible with the Family register of John Smith and Mary Hewellin of Aberdare Wales, detailing the birth times and dates of their seven children, as well as marriage information about themselves, death dates of most individuals, and information about John Smith's father, George (b. abt 1777). In all 11 individuals are covered across 2 pages, written in three hands. The Bibles has a large leaf pressed between the pages which has been leaf in situ, along with a black piece of ribbon, possibly associated with mourning, and a small plain calling card with the name "Mrs P L Serjeant"

The Bible itself is in good condition with boards attached. Some rubbing to the leather binding but generally sound.
