A small leatherbound British and Foreign Bible Society Bible, dating to 1835 and listing the eleven children of William and Mary Clapham of Heigham in Norfolk.

The family register is written in a neat hand by Ernest Clapham on a pasted slip on the front endpaper and dated 2nd July 1873. There is no mention of the parents, but is headed "List of the Names and ages of the Claphams". The exact dates of birth are shown for seven of the eleven children

The boards are still attached though the hinges are loose. The binding itself is tight but the pages are slightly foxed or stained, particularly the earlier pages.
