The Family Register lists the dates of birth of the eight children: Mary, Rebecca, Ann, Griffith, Hugh, Samuel, Jennet and Gwen, and although Evan and Ann are not listed, the various other writings across the Bible enables a positive identification against the 1861 Wales Census. Other items include a whole page inscribed in Welsh (high resolution photos available on request), various inscriptions across the text by Jennet including address, and further in a verse by “Janet Jones” dated 1875.

The Bible is bound fully bound in calf. Binding is worn and loose at the spine.
